2015 Web Presence Subcommittee Meeting Summaries

July 22, 2015

In preparation of the final rule, the Website Subcommittee was reengaged to review the current status of the website, determine what to add or omit, and establish a timeline/ process for updating the site. Biweekly meetings have been scheduled for the Subcommittee.

August 5, 2015

The focus of the call revolved around current and future needs of the FSPCA website.

August 19, 2015

The Subcommittee created a prioritized to-do list for the newly hired Manager of the Food Safety Technical Assistance Network. A website feedback form and resource upload area were requested as additions to the FSPCA website. Known resources and FAQs will be added to the website as soon as possible, with categorization at a later date. A link to the FDA Knowledge Management System (when available) will also be added to the FSPCA website for any regulation interpretation questions. A mission statement for the FSPCA website will be drafted and added to the Alliance Business Plan.

September 2, 2015

Website site map will be finalized and shared with the subcommittee. Additions to current the website were requested including a link to the FDA Knowledge Management System, FAQs, and FSPCA presentations. When available, links to the final rule, including red line versions, will be posted on the FSPCA homepage.

September 23, 2015

Website mission statement for the Alliance Business Plan and FSPCA website site map were discussed, and continue to be refined. Meetings to resume biweekly on October 14, 2015.
