Seminar Series

IFSH periodically conducts seminars focusing on food safety and health issues, and features speakers from both the FDA and IIT Research Staff.  Objectives of the Seminar Series will include the following:

  • Provide a way for presentations that have been made at conferences and meetings to be delivered to staff who could not attend
  • Establish a means to present relevant issues for increasing general knowledge and discussion among staff
  • Maintain and improve formal presentation skills among staff
  • Teach students how to make presentations, how to ask questions, establish dialogue, and interact with speakers at formal seminar
  • Showcase the work done at Moffett to external communities, including CFSAN, IIT, and perhaps IFSH industry members (eventually offered by webinar link)
