Task Forces

Through the cooperative research and development agreement between IIT and the FDA, IFSH can receive the food industry into membership and facilitate any number of desired task forces. These can form in addition to specific science projects and can meet apart from the platform activities.  They can establish timetables for key objectives with the necessary level of urgency in keeping with critical food safety imperatives of the marketplace. Examples would be the low moisture food safety task force or the sprout safety task force.
